This year, I teamed up with the Kindness Collective Foundation. It is a New Zealand charity that spreads kindness. They connect children and families in need with the things they need at Christmas. For three weeks in December, the Kindness Collective sets up a ‘Christmas Joy Store’. Referred parents and caregivers can choose toys they know their children will love, off the shelves, shopping for free.
A food market is also set up, where families can also choose food and drink products to enjoy over Christmas. This is my second collaboration with the Kindness Collective. I reached out to my favourite New Zealand companies for food and drink donations. This year, an incredible 45+ companies donated their products to the Christmas Joy Store.
After three weeks of spreading its joy to thousands of families, the Joy Store closed its doors yesterday.
On Christmas morning, 16,225 children from around Aotearoa will open 44,164 presents. They will enjoy 32,570 stocking gifts. Additionally, there are 113,575 treats thanks to the generosity of this community.
We would like to express a HUGE thank you to all of the companies below. Their generous donations are putting smiles on kiwi kids all over the country this Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
