D🍩nut W🍩rry, be happy… because there are new donuts in town!

Introducing Doornuts, run by the amazingly talented Danielle and Suzanne who brought us The Pie Piper. Doornuts are making it simple – delicious donuts delivered to your door!

Their donuts are made fresh every day and from scratch, there are three different donut box selections to choose from and delivery is free within the CBD- winning!

The three donut box selections include:

Doornuts Dozen – a dozen of traditional donuts
Glazed, Cinnamon Sugar, Awhi’s Strawberry Sprinkles and Chocolate Ganache with Valrhona Pearls

Half N’ Half – assorted dozen of traditional and their latest creations
Cinnamon Sugar, Awhi’s Strawberry Sprinkles, Chocolate Ganache with Valrhona Pearls, S’Mores, Strawberry Cheesecake and Blueberry Crumble Berliner

Donuteers Dozen – assorted dozen which includes their latest creations
Strawberry Cheesecake, S’Mores, Blueberry Crumble Berliner and Maple Bacon

I was originally going to go with the Half N’ Half box as you get quite a variety, but after seeing MAPLE BACON (above, front centre) on the menu, I knew I just had to order it. So, the Donuteers Dozen arrived to my work today and WOWEE, the donuts looked and tasted amazing!

After devouring each one, the best donut (and also the crowd favourite) was definitely the Maple Bacon. It tasted just like it said it should – pancakes, bacon and maple syrup, which happens to be my favourite breakfast! It had that lovely sweet and salty flavour combination too.

I also really enjoyed the Blueberry Crumble Berliner – I loved the oozing blueberry and it brought back good memories (having had a few Berliner donuts in London last year).

Hope you are now salivating over these donuts, because they really are the real deal.
